This week’s photo- Abba poster, Frankfurt
I had a 10-hour layover in Frankfurt a few years back so I decided to leave the airport and take a walk (and a bus) into town for the heck of it. Not quite sure where this was exactly but I saw this poster on one of the walls. Abba rocks!!

Dear Anis. I have read your articles and went through the photos. They make me feel so excited as some of the picture do remind me of my own annual travels since 1984 but of course not the way you have traveled.I enjoy the pics of people, young and old with their faces plastered with ‘bedak sejuk’. They do make interesting subjects. i have been to Turkey twice too, and really enjoyed the belly-dancing. I an now looking forward to go to Kunming on 12 June. To me, what i got more then i expected on my trips, they are bonuses. And any difficult incidents, it is an adventure.Looking forward to read and see your pics in Turkey … with your loving parents. Have a good holiday. And all the very best for your future. Seth
Thank you so much encik Seth, I’m looking forward to the trip too! As for the photos, I’ve only just started taking close-ups of people in the last few years. Not everyone wants to be photographed (a woman in Seoul who didn’t want her photo taken splashed her mug of hot tea on me!), but most of the people I’ve approached have been very nice. And I hope you have a lovely time in Kunming :-).
